A complete renovation to transform a longtime rental property into a forever home for a multigenerational family. The design prioritizes customization to meet the unique needs of the homeowners, their relatives, and an aging parent. Key updates include expanding the kitchen by combining two rooms, adding an ADA-compliant bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, and redesigning the master suite to enhance functionality and comfort. To improve convenience, laundry rooms were added on multiple levels, and the basement was reimagined as a versatile space for entertainment, workouts, and large family gatherings. This project beautifully balances practicality and personalization for a family-focused lifestyle.
